Data Deletion Instructions Policy


Purpose

This policy outlines the process for users or clients to request the deletion of their personal data or other stored information in compliance with applicable data protection regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA.



Scope

This policy applies to all individuals whose data is collected, stored, or processed by RevExp LLC, including users, clients, employees, and third parties.


Data Deletion Requests

1. How to Submit a Request

Users can request data deletion by contacting us through one of the following methods:

Please include the following in your request:

  • Full name
  • Contact information
  • Description of the data you wish to have deleted
  • Any relevant user ID or account information

2. Verification Process

To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion, we will verify your identity before processing your request. This may include:

  • Confirming your email address
  • Requesting additional identification
  • Verifying access to the relevant account

3. Response Time

We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and aim to complete deletion within 30 calendar days, unless additional time is necessary due to the complexity or volume of the request.


4. Exceptions

Data deletion may not be possible in the following scenarios:

  • The data is required to comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records, audits)
  • The data is necessary to complete a transaction or contract
  • The data is retained for legitimate business interests, in compliance with applicable laws
  • The request cannot be verified

5. Deletion Methods

Once a request is verified and approved, data will be securely deleted using appropriate methods, including:

  • Permanent removal from production and backup systems
  • Anonymization or de-identification where full deletion is not possible
  • Deletion logs maintained for audit purposes

6. Communication

You will be notified once the data deletion has been completed or if your request cannot be fulfilled, along with the reasons why.

This policy is reviewed annually and may be updated as needed to reflect changes in legal requirements or internal procedures.
